Dassault Aviation, on his site of Martignas, assures the assemblage of sails. Most of the box structure is taken up by the fuel tank, which requires highly-specialized sealing operations to assemble. The tightness of the wing tank is tested under pressure before work can commence on finishing out the wings.
To ensure the quality of sealing on the wings, Dassault uses
E50 proportioning machines made by Kremlin Rexson to ensure that the 4 types of sealant used are evenly distributed.
Applications include:• covering
• faying surface seals
• beading applications
• filling hollow areas
Product A is fed in using an Alto pump and proportioned using a gear pump. Product B is fed in using a pressure tank and proportioned using a gear pump; a static mixing dispensing station is used to deliver the product.
Each machine is freely available for use and can be used for dispensing mixed materials. Operators always have fresh product to use, which is perfectly and accurately proportioned. Operators can check that the machines are working properly and ensure traceability for each sample.
Dassault Aviation told us why they chose to use Kremlin Rexson equipment: «
We will continue to work with Kremlin Rexson for the foreseeable future, constantly improving our process thanks to new ideas. What we wanted was totally reliable equipment that would enable us to select only the exact quantity of product required to prevent waste. We have achieved this objective. »
